IMPACT GUIDANCE SYSTEM (IGS) - ASICS Design Philosophy. Employs linked compentry that enhances the foots natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. REARFOOT AND FOREFOOT GEL CUSHIONING SYSTEMS - Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. COMFORDRY SOCKLINER - Provides cushioning performance and anti-microbial properties for a cooler drier healthier environment. SOLYTE MIDSOLE MATERIAL - A lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS� standard EVA and SpEVA. Also features enhanced cushioning and durability. FULL LENGTH TRAIL SENSOR SYSTEM - Enables parts of the midsole to decouple for optimal traction on uneven terrain. TRUSSTIC SYSTEM - Reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. ROCK PROTECTION PLATE - Provides protection against stone bruises. AHAR - Acronym for ASICS High Abrasion Resistant rubber. Placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability. LACE POCKET - Specially designed to keep the shoe laces tidy particularly for off-road conditions. TRAIL SPECIFIC OUTSOLE - Reversed lugs provide uphill and downhill traction on all types of terrain. INNER LOCK LACING - Provides ankle support and stability with two straps which become wrapped around the foot when the shoe is laced.
